Lightweight Composite Floors @ Discovery Horse Floats

Team Discovery have started using a new proven & tested composite flooring, as an option in our custom-made horse floats; where weight is an issue. This composite is strong, light & almost indestructible. It's a unique product using closed cell, lightweight composite products manufactured with cross-linked polymer foam & fiberglass, offering high specific strength & toughness. Replacing our hardwood & plywood, this non-absorbent material is extremely durable, provides an excellent bonding surface, has good impact strength, sound & thermal insulation & is resistant to contamination & high temperatures. On a large horse float this flooring can save up to 20 - 30% in weight.
